Ingredients

• 1 cup carrots , cut into small cubes
• 1 cup celery , cut into small cubes
• 1 whole tomato , chopped
• 1 small onion , chopped
• 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
• 6 cups chicken broth , low sodium
• 340 g ground beef
• 4 cups barley , rinse well, soak with cold water overnight
