Bao Buns recipe by Fouziah Pailwan

Ingredients

• Arabic dough for bao buns
• 6 cups flour
• ½ cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 pkts yeast
• ¾ cup oil
• ¼ cup klim
• 1½ teaspoon baking powder
• 2½ cups warm water adding little more if needed. Knead above to a soft dough. Allow to rise. Divide into small balls.
• 1 kg chicken fillet strips
• 1 egg
• 2 teaspoon @purespice_sa red ginger garlic
• ½ cup sweet chilli sauce
• ¼ cup Tomato sauce
• ¼ cup chilli sauce
• 2 tablespoon butter
• 2 tablespoon soy sauce
• 2 tablespoon lemon juice
• Red colouring
• 2 tablespoon golden syrup
• 2 tablespoon honey
• Assemble bao
• Sliced cucumber 🥒
• Grated carrots
• Sliced red onions 🌰
• 2 doz mini subs
• 2 doz pizza wheels
• 1 big pizza
