Ingredients

• 1 c light brown sugar
• 1/4 c cane syrup
• 1/4 c light Karo corn syrup
• 2 large eggs, beaten
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 2 c Pearson Farm pecans, chopped
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1 tsp. good quality bourbon
• 4 c all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
• 2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, freshly grated
• 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
• 4 oz cold lard, cut into small chunks
• 4 oz cold butter, cut into small chunks
• 1 c cold water
• 1/4 tsp. distilled white vinegar
• 3 large eggs, beaten
