- ½ tsp sesame seeds
- 1 x 225g sirloin steak
- 1 tbsp cornflour, plus 1 tsp
- 1½-2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 40g light brown soft sugar
- 3 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove, finely grated
- 4cm piece ginger, finely grated
- pinch of chilli flakes (optional)
- 3 spring onions, whites and greens separated, then sliced
- 1 x 250g pack pak choi, halved lengthways
- cooked rice, to serve
