Ingredients

• 1 pound ground beef
• 2 tablespoons shortening
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 1 (16-ounce) can tomatoes, undrained
• 1 tablespoon ketchup
• 1 tablespoon steak sauce or Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
• 1 (5- to 7-ounce) package macaroni
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 1 cup grated cheese of your choice
