• 1/2 cup cilantro, packed, mostly leaves and some stems, plus more, to taste, for garnish
• 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
• 1 clove garlic, sliced

• ***For the salmon:***
• 1 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, skinless and about 1-inch-thick, patted dry
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
