• 125 g Western Star Chef’s Choice Unsalted Butter, chopped
• 1/3 cup (60 g) brown sugar
• 1/3 cup (80 ml) golden syrup
• 1 egg
• 2 and 1/2 cups plain flour
• 1 tbsp ginger, ground
• 2 tsp cinnamon, ground
• 1/4 tsp cloves, ground
• 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
• Icing
• 1 egg white
• 2 cups (approx.) pure icing sugar, sifted
• Gold dragees, to decorate (gold decorating sugar balls)
