• 3 lb Stew meat, chopped
• 5 tablespoon Butter
• 1 Salt
• 1 Pepper
• 1 Onion, chopped
• 1 6 oz can tomato paste
• 2 tablespoon Red wine vinegar
• 1 Clove garlic, diced
• 1½ cups Water
• 1 Bay leaf
• 2 lb Small white onions
• ½ lb Mushrooms, sliced
• ¾ lb Jack cheese, grated
