- 3⁄4 lbs dried plums
- 1⁄2 lbs almonds
- 4 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 bottle of sweet red wine, (porto)
- 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
- zest and juice of 1 orange
- zest of 2 lemons
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1 cup of rum
- 1 cup molasses
