Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) unsalted butter, softened
• 3 cups (750 ml) sugar
• 6 eggs
• 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) milk
• 2 1/4 cups (560 ml) unsalted butter, softened
• 2 teaspoons (10 ml) vanilla extract
• 6 cups (1.5 litres) icing sugar
• 3 different food colourings (green, blue, red or yellow), preferably gel
