Maple Apple Crisp Shortbread Tarts | Maple from Canada

Ingredients
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) maple sugar
- 35 ml (1/8 cup) egg yolks
- 250 ml (1 cup) flour
- 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) baking powder
- 1 ml (1 pincée) salt
- 6 Royal Gala or Cortland apples (preferably organic)
- 3 ml (1/2 teaspoon) cinnamon
- Maple sugar
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) maple butter
