• Dash of salt
• 1/2 cup Extra Virgin olive oil
• 1 1/4 cups, plus 2 teaspoons, of brown sugar, divided
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 3 eggs; 2 tablespoons milk
• 3 red pears (or other), peeled, cored, and cut into thin slices
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
