Easy Chicken Akni recipe by Feroza Joossub Asmall

Ingredients

• 1kg chicken cut into cubes
• 1 onion chopped
• 2 tomatoes liquidised
• 1 teaspoon whole jeera
• 2/3 green chillies slit
• 5 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
• 3 tablespoon oil
• 1 teaspoon salt (or salt to taste)
• 1 teaspoon arad (Turmeric) (tumeric)
• 1 teaspoon dhania (coriander) jeera
• 1 teaspoon rough chillies
• 2 teaspoon kashmiri chilly powder
• 1 teaspoon (heaped) ginger garlic
• ½ teaspoon red chilli paste (omit if you don’t like it spicy)
• 2 tablespoon lemon juice
• 2 cups frozen mixed veggies
• 3 to 4 potatoes quartered and fried
• 3 cups
