• 3 cups (447g) dates, chopped
• 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter, room temperature
• 1/4 teaspoons table salt
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
• 1 tablespoon (14g) orange zest or 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
