Schupfnudeln recipe| German potato dumpling
These are gnocchi styled potato pasta which are stir fried in butter and seasoned with herbs. Unlike Italy the origin of these handmade pasta is in Germany.
Ingredients
- 5 to 6 Potatoes (Medium sized)
- 2 cups refined flour
- 1 egg [optional (avoid incase making vegetarian])
- A pinch of nutmeg
- a handful of sage leaves
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 2 tbsp. of butter
- 1 tsp grated garlic
