- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon

- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 100g crystallised ginger, chopped
- 125g soft dark brown sugar
- 125g unsalted butter
- 125g black treacle
- 125g golden syrup
- 2 eggs
- 100ml whole milk
- 75g icing sugar
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- 1-2 tsp water
