• 2 tbsp (30 mL) sodium-reduced soy sauce
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) packed brown sugar
• 1 tsp (5 mL) sambal oelek
• 1 tsp (5 mL) minced ginger root
• 1 lb (500 g) 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick Beef Top Sirloin Grilling Steak, cut into thin, 2-inch (5 cm) long slices
• Salt and pepper
