Vanilla Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup whole milk
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1 vanilla bean, 1 tsp Vanilla Paste or 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
• 15-oz. can pure pumpkin
• 2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp. table salt
• 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
• 1/8 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
• 3 large eggs, at room temperature
• 1-1/2 Tbs. bourbon
• 1 blind-baked Basic Pie Pastry shell
