Tom's Tamari Glazed Carrots - River Cottage
This is a great way elevate carrots into something quite spectacular! It is such a pleasure to cook, seeing a humble carrot take on so much character.
Ingredients
- 6 medium carrots peeled and whole
- 1 star anise
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp pink pepper corns
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cloves of garlic crushed
- Pinch of chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 100ml tamari or soy sauce
- 50ml apple juice
- Juice of an orange
- 1 twist of orange zest
