- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 3 pounds beef short ribs
- salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ cup beef broth
- 10.5 ounces condensed French onion soup ((1 can, we used Campbell's brand))
- 12 ounces chili sauce ((1 bottle))
- 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 Tablespoons cold water
- ¼ teaspoon dried rosemary ((optional garnish) or fresh rosemary sprig)
