Venison steak with carmelised onions - Tasmanian Game Meat Recipes

Ingredients

• 1 venison pkt steaks
• 4 cups tbsp soy sauce
• 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 tsp fresh or dried sage
• 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 yellow 1 onion, sliced 1cm thick
• 1 red 1 onion sliced 1cm thick
• 1 leek 1 sliced 1cm thick (white part only)
• A sprinkle of white sugar (optional)
• 1 tsp red wine vinegar (optional, for the onions)
• Salt
• pepper
• Fresh chopped parsley or chives for garnish (optional)
