Spinach Salad with warm dressing | Just A Pinch Recipes
Without a doubt this is the best salad I have ever eaten. I used to order it from a cafe in Eaton Place. I did get the recipe from our local newspaper Winnipeg
Ingredients
- - 8 cups fresh spinach
- - 8 slices of cooked bacon
- - 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- - 3 green onions chopped
- - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- - 4 hardboiled eggs sliced or chopped
- - dressing
- - 1 large onion diced
- - 2 tbsp bacon fat
- - 2tbsp water
- - 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- - 1/3 cup sugar
- - 1 cup mayonnaise
- - croutons store bought or homemade
