Hop Highway Andouille Corn Dog • Baking Brew
Unlike a regular beer batter, this batter requires some fat. Buttermilk and eggs will help us accomplish this.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 eggs
- 4 andouille sausages
- 1/4 cup of Hop Highway IPA
- 1 quart of oil
