Frangipani Flan (Tart) | Just A Pinch Recipes
This is a recipe I got from a neighbor when we were living in England. It's like a marzipan and sooo easy.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon(s) of jam - any choice: apricot, raspberry, marmelade are good
- 2 ounce(s) butter, softened
- 2 ounce(s) fine (caster) sugar
- 1 - large egg
- 2 ounce(s) ground almonds (i grind mine in processor)
- 2 teaspoon(s) pure almond essence
- 1/2 ounce(s) self rising flour
- ICING
- 8 ounce(s) confectioners' sugar
- 5-6 teaspoon(s) hot water
