- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 2 medium yellow onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely grated
- 12 ounces beef loin flap steak, cut into 3-inch long pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cups hot japanese rice
- scallion, thinly sliced (garnish)
