Slow Cooked Creamy Beef and Mushroom Casserole | Bulla

Ingredients

• 200g Bulla Crème Fraîche
• 2 Tbsp olive oil
• 1.5 kg topside beef, cubed
• salt and pepper, to taste
• 1 Tbsp olive oil, for frying
• 6 shallots, finely sliced
• 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
• 2 Tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
• 1 cup beef stock
• 1 Tbsp brandy
• 2 Tbsp butter
• 400g mixed mushrooms, halved
• additional Bulla Crème Fraîche
• cracked black pepper, to taste
