Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ¾ cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 5 yes, FIVE eggs
  • 1 cup 2%milk
  • ½ cups chopped candied ginger
  • 2 tbsp grated fresh ginger (I tripled this)
