• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 cup soy sauce
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/4 cup sweet rice wine
• 1 onion, minced
• 1 Asian pear, finely chopped
• 1/4 cup minced garlic
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
• 5 lbs Korean style Ontario beef short ribs
• 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion (if desired)
