- Ginger - 1-inch piece, grated
- Tomato - 2, diced
- Cucumber - 1, peeled, deseeded, and cubed
- Red Chili - 1, finely chopped
- Papaya - 1 small, ripe but firm, cut into small cubes
- Fresh Herbs - such as cilantro and basil, a handful, chopped
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Rice or Taro - for serving
