Eileen's Baked Penne - Michigan Wine Country

Ingredients

• box of penne noodles
• 28 ounce jar of spaghetti sauce (Eileen prefers Paul Newman’s, your choice of flavor)
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 pound of lean ground beef
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
• 1/2 tablespoon basil
• 1/2 tablespoon oregano
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1/2 cup red wine
• 16 ounces ricotta cheese or small curd cottage cheese (or combination)
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup grated Asiago or grated Parmesan cheese
• 16 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
