Ingredients

• 2 c (500 ml) cake flour
• ½ c (125 ml) corn flour
• 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
• 1 T (15 ml) baking powder
• 500 ml ice cold beer or soda water
• 4 large ZZ2 Onions, thickly sliced and broken into rings
• ½ c (125 ml) seasoned flour
• 100 g mild blue cheese
• ½ c (125 ml) sour cream
• ¼ c (60 ml) creamy mayonnaise
• Vegetable oil for deep frying
• Paper towel to absorb excess oil
