Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound tilapia or other firm white fish such as mahi-mahi, halibut, cod or catfish
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or full fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 - 2 chipotle peppers in adobe sauce, chopped
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon adobe sauce (from the canned peppers)
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • Chopped romaine lettuce or red cabbage
  • Sliced Avocado
