• 3 eggs, lightly beaten
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
• 1 tbsp (15 ml) sambal oelek (or to taste)
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
• Salt and pepper
• 1 ½ lb (675 g) asparagus, trimmed and cooked al dente
