Ingredients

  • 220 g Steamed Soybeans (unsalted, substitute: boiled soybeans)
  • 40 g Burdock Root (Gobo)
  • 60 g Konjac
  • 1 Dried Shiitake Mushroom
  • 40 g Carrot
  • 1 piece Hayani Kombu Seaweed (14x4cm/5.5"x1.6", quick-cooking thin kombu for simmered dishes)
  • 10 g Dried Shrimp (optional)
  • 4 String Bean Pod (boiled, cut into 1cm pieces)
  • 350 ml Dashi Stock
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Usukuchi Soy Sauce (substitute: regular soy sauce, usukuchi is both saltier and lighter in color than regular soy sauce)
