• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 1 tsp (5 mL) dried Italian seasoning

• 10 sun-dried tomatoes, scissor-cut into thick strips
• 1 can (19 oz/540 mL) stewed tomatoes
• 1 cup (250 mL) beef stock
• ½ cup (125 mL) dry red wine
• ½ cup (125 mL) ketchup
