- 1 1/2 sheets ready-made sweet short pastry
- 60 grams butter
- 4 tablespoons caster sugar
- 1 1/2 -2 eggs (use half egg for pastry as per below)
- zest of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 100 grams ground almonds
- 1 cup rhubarb, chopped
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
- Sweet short pastry
- 60 grams chilled butter
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 egg, beaten lightly
- 1 tablespoon iced water
