Fish With Chili Sambal | Canadian Living
This fairly dry sambal paste is half relish, half sauce. It is wonderful atop saltwater fish such as striped bass. Adjust the heat by varying the chili powder to taste.

- 6 red finger hot peppers seeded and chopped
- 2 cloves garlic smashed
- 1 tomato peeled, seeded and chopped
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh ginger
- 2 teaspoons chili powder (or 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
