Linzer tartlet (Austrian jam tart) recipe 

Ingredients

• 200g plain flour, plus extra for dusting
• 125g ground hazelnuts
• 125g sugar
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 pinch ground cloves
• 1 pinch ground cardamom
• 1 pinch ground allspice
• 1 tsp grated orange zest
• 150g cold butter, plus extra for greasing
• 1 egg
• 250g raspberry jam
• 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten, for an egg wash
