Ingredients

  • 2 large or 3 small onions
  • 1dl dashi (do not add if you go full vegetarian since it’s fish stock. I use 1 tsp of dashi powder and dissolve in 1dl water. Dashi gives a deep and slightly smokey taste.)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 pinches sugar
  • 1 pack tofu (soft or firm, it’s up to your liking)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Shichimi and sansho pepper (optional)
